“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.”
Proverbs 31:10
Virtuous = Being in conformity to the moral or divine law(God’s Word); as a virtuous action; a virtuous life. Chaste; applied to women.
Everything in the world, (magazines, movies, music etc.) tells us that beauty is everything, right? It’s all about looking your best and trying to impress for attention. Do you know what God says about beauty?
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is VAIN: But a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30
Favour = To regard with kindness; to support; to aid or have the disposition to aid, or to wish success to; to be propitious to; to countenance; to befriend; to encourage.
“..for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” 1 Sam. 16:7
Do you get comments about how you look? Do they reflect your heart or your outward appearance?
Do you know what God’s Word says about how we should look?
“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness, and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; but (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” 1 Tim. 2:9-10
Modest = Properly, restrained by a sense of propriety; hence, not forward or bold; not presumptuous or arrogant; not boastful; as a modest youth; a modest man/woman.
Shamefacedness = Bashfulness; excess of modesty.
Sobriety = Seriousness; gravity without sadness or melancholy.
“Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.” 1 Peter 3:3-4
Corruptible = That may be vitiated(Depraved; rendered impure.) in qualities or principles; susceptible of depravation. Manners are corruptible by evil example.
Meek = Mild of temper; soft; gentle; not easily provoked or irritated; yielding; humble.
Christ says, "Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Matt.11:29
We are also told to “FLEE also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a PURE HEART.” 2 Tim. 2:22
Pure = Free from moral defilement; without spot; not sullied or tarnished; incorrupt; holy.
And Ecc. 11:9-10 says, “Rejoice, o young man(or young woman), in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.”
We are told…
“..be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,” (Romans 12:2)
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If ANY man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2:15)
~this means a love for anything or anyone in this world~
“every man that hath this hope(hope of Christ’s return) in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.”(1 John 3:3)
“..be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”(2 Cor. 6:17)
“..whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”(James 4:4)
“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” Romans 8:13
“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not ALL that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:33
“But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments, and to cleave unto Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Joshua 22:5
“Whosoever therefore shall be ASHAMED of ME and of MY WORDS in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38

PSALM 19
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

It's SNOWING :)!
Thank you Lord for snow :)! It is just another beautiful part of Your creation that declares Your glory. It is beautiful :)!!
"Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise Him in the heights.
Praise ye Him, all His angels: praise ye Him, all His hosts.
Praise ye Him, sun and moon: praise Him, all ye stars of light.
Praise Him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for HE COMMANDED, and THEY WERE CREATED.
He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: He hath made a decree which shall not pass.
Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
Fire, and hail; SNOW, and vapours; stormy wind FULFILLING His WORD:
Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for His name ALONE is EXCELLENT; His GLORY is ABOVE the earth and heaven.
He also exalteth the horn of HIS people, the praise of ALL His SAINTS; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto Him. PRAISE YE THE LORD!"
